Weeramantry ofera o analiza foarte detaliata a situatiei: “pozitiile cu material inegal precum aceasta este foarte greu sa le stapanesti. Chiar si Marii Maestrii au dificultati in a gasi un verdict clar in aceasta varianta. Trei piese minore pot pune in dificultate Dama atat timp cat sunt bine coordonate. Problema este ca nu exista campuri putenice unde sa fie plasate. Oriunde ai merge poti fi dat la o parte de pioni. Sunt asa de multi pioni negrii incat daca reuseste sa faca rocada mare si sa puna regele in siguranta, poate incepe un atact in valuri cu pionii. Pur si simplu impinge pionii catre centru si blocheaza piesele minore, care sunt obligate sa se retreaga. “Totusi, datorita acestor pioni, negrul nu are linii deschise.
